“sPARKit” is a mobile trailer/ pop up park, with all of the amenities needed to turn a green/ common space in to an activated destination spot. The “sPARKit” mobile trailer is a community conversation tool used to “spark” conversations in a fun family friendly environment. We set a up a colorful pop up park with items that travel in the teardrop trailer. The set up creates a colorful celebratory environment that invites the public to come and play games and engage each other in conversations.
The, “sPARKit” mobile trailer is able to travel to any location throughout the twin cities and beyond. Our set up and breakdown generally takes 30 – 45 minutes and can be set up in most locations but, is best on flat surfaces. Typically, we like to bring two staff members to host, set up, and activate the programming during each “sPARKit” outing.

Our starting travel charge to events outside Hennepin/Ramsey Counties is .92 cents per mile roundtrip from South Mpls.

The sPARKit trailer was created by Soozin Hirschmugl, who was a puppeteer, theater director, visual artist, and spectacle/pageant director. Soozin died in the summer of 2019, but the sPARKit trailer continues to be operated by her friends and colleagues in her honor.
