Crayon Recycling Center

The Crayon Recycling Center is a mobile, interactive art station that teaches creative reuse through hands-on crayon melting activities. Participants select broken crayons, break them into pieces, choose silicone molds, and watch as old crayons are melted into fun, colorful shapes.

The process is simple and engaging for all ages, making it ideal for schools, festivals, libraries, and community events. The cart is staffed by a knowledgeable facilitator who guides the activity, ensures safety, and shares information about recycling and waste reduction.

Standard Neighborhood Event Rate: Staff, broken crayons and molds for 3 hours for $500

Standard Event Includes:
-One staff member to run the Crayon Recycling Center
-Pre-sorted, broken crayons ready for use
-Wide selection of silicone molds (custom themes available)
-Tables and setup for participant use
-Informational materials on crayon recycling and sustainability
-Labeled cups for collecting and taking home finished crayons

Additional and customizable options:
Custom Mold Themes: Add custom silicone molds to fit your event
theme (e.g., hearts, animals, logos), $20-$50 depending on complexity and quantity.
Staffed Event (Standard): One facilitator is included with every booking.
Extra staffing available for large groups-Cost: $45/hour per additional staff.
Extra Hours: Extra time is available at $65 per additional hour.
